Geodis strengthens with the acquisition of Sincrolog

Thanks to this accord Geodis Logistics, the logistic division of the Group, completes another footstep in the expansion of its activities in our Country and conquest new and wider sectors of market

Geodis Logistics, leading entity of SNCF Transport and logistics division, the 4th largest European transport and logistics supplier, has acquired Sincrolog. In spite of the lasting crise, Geodis, with this acquisition, continues its expansion and becomes more and more strong, strengthening its skills.

Alfred Costa, Business Development manager, explains that "the acquisition of Sincrolog has been effected in line with the business strategies; in fact among the different logistic operators of the Italian panorama, such society has been preferred for its solid presence on market sectors of tall interest and for the ample realizable sinergies."

Around 20 million of European of billing of the only part logistics, over 250.000 mqs of total areas of which more than 125.000 of covered surfaces, are some of the key figures of Sincrolog, that has stores situated in strategic areas and connected with the more important motorway arteries of communication.

The acquisition of the 100% of the quotas of Sincrolog from Geodis Logistics doesn't determine variations to the same one, guarantee of the managerial continuity from its management
