GEODIS ZÜST AMBROSETTI acquires AUTOTRASPORTI RIBI SpA and consolidates its presence on North East Italy
Geodis Züst Ambrosetti, Italian company of Geodis Group operating on road transport, has acquired Autotrasporti Ribi Spa.
A turnover of 15 Million Euro, 50 employees and a fleet of 20 trucks. These figures integrate Geodis Züst Ambrosetti staff and revenue, that will increase of 30% in its domestic amount.
“We are not talking just about figures”- said Mr. Massimo Susani, new Chairman of Autotrasporti Ribi Spa – “The geographical placement and the companies complementary, have a strategic importance. With 5 branches on North East Italy (Gorizia, Udine, Trieste, Padova and Trento) and 1 close to Milan, Autotrasporti Ribi Spa allows Geodis Züst Ambrosetti to complete its distribution network in one of the most important area for Transport and Logistics market, where it is already present an Hub in Verona and a commercial branch in Vicenza”.
The strategic operation just concluded enables Geodis Züst Ambrosetti to be more and more close to its customers portfolio requests, which is composed for the most by small and medium enterprises, reflecting the Italian economic structure.
The assets obtained with the new acquisition integrates Geodis Züst Ambrosetti’s assets, which nowadays has in Italy 67 platforms, 12 of its own and 55 of commercial partners, managing the domestic and the European distribution.
Geodis’s tendency to growth, shown with the 4 acquisitions in the last two years – GTL, Sincrolog and BSL – reflects the aim to consolidate Group status, by the strengthening of all divisions, that altogether cover the needs of the whole Supply Chain.
