Geodis’s purpose is becoming the Global Provider reference in the national area with an extremely specialized and complete offer – groupage, express and full truck load, freight forwarding, 4PL services – and a waving factory with the idea of a “collaborative logistics”.
“This new merger is part of an accurate strategy” – said Francesco Cazzaniga, CEO of Geodis Logistics in Italy - “which aims to reinforce our presence in the logistic market, trying to become leader as well as steadying the position of the whole company in Italy”.
Geodis looks straight to the future with a strategy examined in details and based on two features: strengthening of its own structures on the national areas - through merger of consolidated and well known companies – and the ongoing improvement of high value added services, like the innovative co-packing (kitting, labbeling, ecc.) – and the Reverse Logistics regarding the management of the end-of-life electronic product, the last flagship of logistic service offered by Geodis.
